Use of images and visual content

Osteomag.ca publishes educational content about health, anatomy, biomechanics, posture and osteopathy.

Images and illustrations may come from original creations produced for Osteomag, including generated or edited visuals; licensed image libraries; public resources whose reuse is permitted; and educational content accompanied by attribution where required.

We seek to respect copyright, licences and the conditions attached to each image. An educational purpose or an attribution does not, by itself, authorize reproduction of a protected work.

An independent educational project

Osteomag.ca is an independent educational project intended to share knowledge and increase understanding of health. Content is not published with the intention of infringing copyright or harming a rights holder. We welcome reports of potentially problematic content.

Copyright concerns

Despite our care, a visual may have been published by mistake without its licence or ownership status being fully identified. If you hold rights to an image and believe it was used without permission or appropriate attribution, contact us so we can review the situation.

Takedown requests — Copyright / DMCA

Osteomag reviews requests for removal, replacement or corrected attribution. “DMCA” is used as a familiar label for reporting copyright concerns; it is not a claim of a particular legal status. Applicable rules depend on the context, including Canadian copyright law.

Please include the following in your request:

  1. Your full name or organization’s name.
  2. Your contact details.
  3. The exact URL of the page containing the disputed content.
  4. A clear description of the image or content.
  5. Reasonable evidence of ownership or authorized representation, such as an original source, official portfolio or agreement.
  6. A statement that you are the rights holder or an authorized representative.
  7. A statement that the information is accurate and supplied in good faith.

Review and correction

After receiving a complete and reasonable request, we aim to review it promptly, remove content temporarily or permanently where justified, or correct attribution and the source where appropriate. Our priority is to resolve concerns respectfully and transparently.
